Tram Line Spot
The landmark, community-funded skateable space in Nottingham city centre.

Tram Line Spot opened on Saturday 17th December 2022! TLS is a purpose-built, community-designed ‘skate spot’ that can be used whatever the weather, one of the first of its kind in Europe.
Rather than a ‘skatepark’, it has been designed to blend into and complement the wider public realm around Sussex Street and to be welcoming to other user groups, including quad and inline-skaters, street artists and young people studying at the College or visiting the Nottingham Contemporary.

FAQs
Is there a charge to skate here?
No - this is a public space, accessible to all!
Where can I park?
There is no street parking available - the best option is the Broadmarsh multi-storey car park above the bus station on Canal Street, NG1 7FE.
Where are the nearest toilets?
Inside the bus station, via the side entrance opposite the Nottingham College - a few steps up the Sussex Street walkway past the basketball courts.
Can I paint here?
The wooden hoarding on the back of the spot is a combined exhibition space and legal graffiti wall, kindly installed by Nottingham City Council. Pieces can go up on any section to the left of the installed exhibition. The two pillars inside the skateable space are also free to be painted. Anywhere else, including the entrance to The Caves, the walls around the Nottingham Contemporary, the pillars either side of the main walkway, and Cliff Road are not part of the legal graffiti wall and should not be painted. Tagging of the ledges, floor & skate obstacles is not permitted. Please respect the spot and keep it free of tagging & litter.
